# Connections How to connect the platforms Merlin reads, and how to disconnect them. Connections live in one place: **Settings → Connections**. The hub only shows connections for modules your account actually has, grouped into reporting, reviews and lead sources. ## What you can connect **Reporting** - **Google Ads** — campaign, keyword, device and network performance - **Google Analytics** — sessions, users, revenue, goals and audience breakdowns - **Google Search Console** — organic positions and targeted keyword tracking - **Meta Ads** — campaign and ad-set performance, reach **Reviews** - **Google Business Profile** — reviews and ratings for your locations **Lead sources** - **Wix** — form submissions into the CRM WordPress and Squarespace connect through the website connectors described in the lead-capture article rather than through this hub. ## Connecting a platform 1. Open **Settings → Connections**. 2. Find the platform and choose **Connect**. 3. You are sent to that platform's own consent screen, signed in as yourself. 4. Review what is being requested and approve it. 5. You are returned to the hub, which confirms the connection. Only an account administrator can manage these connections. Your own Google Calendar is the exception: see below. ## Your own Google Calendar Each team member connects their own Google Calendar, from **Settings → Connections** or **Booking → Settings**; it does not need an administrator. Merlin then reads only the times you are busy, so those times are not offered for booking, and adds each booking to the calendar you choose. Disconnecting removes the upcoming bookings Merlin added, then withdraws its access. ## Disconnecting You can disconnect from the hub at any time. You can also withdraw access from the platform's own account settings — Google's permissions page or Meta's business settings — and Merlin stops receiving that data. Disconnecting stops new data being read. To remove data already held, use the data deletion route on the public site. ## What Merlin asks for Merlin asks for read access wherever read access is enough. Connected-platform data is used only for the features you can see in the app: it is never sold, never used for advertising, and never used to train generalised AI models.
